Your Organization Cover Photo in CUR8

Students hang a colorful banner above a school auditorium stage while a teacher watches

Your organization's cover photo is the fastest branding win in CUR8: set it once and every new project you create carries your look automatically. This training video shows you what it is, where it appears, and exactly how to upload it, with the actual screens from the platform. The full guide is below.

What is an organization cover photo?

It is a default landscape image that represents your organization: your logo, a sponsor banner, a seasonal announcement, or any image that captures your identity. It appears automatically on every new project unless you give that project its own unique cover, so your whole season stays visually consistent.

Why set one?

Because you should not have to re-upload branding for every single show. Set the cover once and your box office looks cohesive and professional across every event you run, whether you are a school program or community theatre. If you are still getting your first event set up, start with our foundation guide to ticketing in CUR8.

Where it appears

The cover photo is the banner image above your project on the box office landing page, and it also appears beside your poster graphic when attendees purchase tickets. From the first click to checkout, your audience sees a branded experience.

How to upload or change it

  1. Log in to CUR8 as an admin.
  2. Open the Organization menu in the top left and choose your organization.
  3. Go to Preferences, then Options.
  4. Scroll to the Cover Photo section and click Upload.
  5. Your image becomes the default banner for all new projects.

To change it later, remove the current default and upload a new one. That is the whole process.

Pro tip: use the exact specs

Size your image at 1530 pixels wide by 306 pixels tall, 72 DPI, in JPEG format. That keeps it crisp on every screen with no surprise cropping, and remember to keep text and logos away from the very edges.
